Fall has finally arrived here in the Pacific Northwest. After a record setting 80+ rainless days, the colors of the fall foliage are outstanding. My husband and I have talked many times over the past couple of weeks about how gorgeous it is outside this year. The yellows more bright, the oranges more vibrant, and the reds are somehow so much deeper. I thought I would share a few pics from our front yard.
The rain that finally came over the weekend broke for some sun yesterday in time for me to snap a few pics. Today I hope to take a drive around to show you some more of the glory that is fall in the PNW.
My husband is a Forester and a Certified Arborist. He has planted thousands of trees on our acreage, including this Japanese Maple – I love the contrast of the blue sky behind the red leaves.
I am starting to believe that Fall might be my favorite season, at least until the rain starts….again.
Blessings,
Steph
