Stephanie Roundtree sent me your link. What Etsy did was completely unfair. I signed up with them twice but sales are brisk offline. I think that when venues get big, it goes to their head. I wish there was a regulatory like vendor guild that protects the rights of vendors and lists selling situations and markets that communicate with vendors and will not list venues where there have been complaints. Communication is very important.
You may want to consider telling them you will go to the Ripoffreport.com to file a complaint if you do not receive a response from them. You can also try the better biz bureau.
Your experience just clinched it for me to turn my back on Etsy.
